Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Revolt Channel Secures Distribution Deal With AT&T U-verse

This is quite revolutionary by REVOLT TV! Not only are they taking themselves beyond being a television channel, but actually setting themselves up to being a network.

Especially with music channels struggling to keep with the internet, its great to see how REVOLT has embraced the change, unlike other networks.


With a current reach of just 25 million pay TV homes, the music channel founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs and co-owned with Comcast needs all of the additional distribution it can secure.

Under today’s deal with AT&T, U-Verse will add Revolt to the U300 bundle beginning July 27. AT&T picks up VOD and streaming rights to the channel. The alliance suggests that the channel might find a welcome mat at DirecTV, which AT&T will acquire once federal regulators give the green light.

“This is a historical day for Revolt,” Combs says. “With a major player like AT&T, more people will be able to access the hottest music and original content on every screen and device. This agreement shows the world that Revolt is a force in the media industry.”

AT&T Home Solutions CMO Mel Coker calls Revolt “a great fit as we strive to bring our customers the content they want, when and where they want it.”
