Recently there seems to have been a whirlwind of African Dancehall artists in Zimbabwe. The sound which is originally Jamaican and Caribbean island, along with Reggae music and raggamuffin has become a huge hit in the country where our interview subject is from. AMAZE is one of the artists riding the crest of this now hugely popular sound in his native Zim’.  A term closely associated with the genre of music he makes is “give thanks”, which signifies the humble nature of AMAZE who’s blessed to be doing what he loves – as his God given calling.

With songs such as One Night Thing and Papa Africa under his notch, we spoke to him about his musical impact so far, his origins in the game, reception of his sound and much more.
